WHO WE ARE

Hi, my name is Nihad Basic and I enjoy outdoor activities and sports, fishing, hunting, hiking, soccer, etc..Fishing is my passion and I enjoy wading cold Vermont streams and rivers for brook trout or fly fishing for salmon or steelhead. I have developed a soft spot for bass fishing and particularly for tournament bass fishing and love every aspect of this sport, spending time with people that share the same passion as I do, challenge that it presents, competitive nature off it or simply spending some quality time with friends. Being there and breeding ups and downs, one always tries to adjust, perhaps learns something new and gets better, anxiously waiting for the next season. Everything from rods, reels, lures, fishing lines is getting better but rod sock remains somewhat the same. Having fished as boater and non boater has made me realize that a good rod sock, protecting not just rod, but reel, entire line with integrated lure wrap, could be beneficial. Having a background in tailoring has made my decision that much easier and from there the Rod Pro-Tech rod socks were born.
